NADRA Services Now Available at Pakistan Post Offices, Including ID Card Renewal

Good news for citizens tired of waiting in long lines at NADRA centers! Many NADRA services, including national identity card renewal, are now available at post offices without the need to wait.

In Karachi, ten General Post Offices (GPOs) have set up dedicated NADRA counters. These counters are equipped with devices that connect to the NADRA system, making the process faster and more efficient. The post office counters offer a variety of services, including:

  • ID card renewal

  • Marital status updates

  • Replacement ID cards for lost or damaged cards

Individuals can also renew their ID cards at the post office up to one year after the expiration date. Changes to home addresses, signatures, and photographs can also be made easily. However, it is important to note that the post office counters do not offer biometric facilities for blood relation verification, which is required for form renewal from a 16th-grade officer. Additionally, FRC (Family Registration Certificate) and (b) form issuance services are not available at these counters. The agreement with NADRA to set up these counters at Pakistan Post Office locations spans ten years, ensuring continued access to these essential services.
